Britain started racing competitively in the late-90s while living in the San Francisco Bay area. At the time, he had a 1970 Porsche 914 with about as much hp as it needed to get out of its own way.  After relocating to the Portland OR area for work, he was giving the opportunity to co-drive a much more potent Porsche 914/6. This led to several local SCCA and Porsche Club Championships as well as SCCA National Tour class wins. He has since purchased the Porsche 914 to further race and develop on his own.  In addition to attending events, Britain has been co-chairing the Oregon Region Porsche Club autocross program for the last 5 years.
